LinkedIn engagement inbox for comment replies
The engagement inbox in ContentOS is one queue for the comments your LinkedIn posts receive. It syncs comments, drafts a reply in your voice for each one, and sends nothing until you approve it, so good conversations do not disappear once a post leaves the feed.

How does the reply queue work?
ContentOS syncs comments from your LinkedIn posts, including posts you wrote directly on LinkedIn, and lists them in one place. Filters separate comments that need a reply, comments with a drafted reply, and replies already sent.
For each comment, ContentOS drafts a reply using your voice samples and the context of the post. You edit the draft, approve it, and ContentOS sends it on LinkedIn as a reply from your account.
- Open the inbox and filter to comments that need a reply.
- Read the drafted reply next to the original comment.
- Edit or approve, and ContentOS sends it on LinkedIn.
- Move on to the next comment; sent replies drop out of the queue.
Can replies be sent automatically?
On accounts running Autopilot, you can switch on automatic replies. It needs your explicit consent, covers comments on posts you published natively as well, and works on LinkedIn only. Leave it off and every reply waits for your approval.
How replies connect to lead signals
The people who comment on and react to your posts are also listed as warm contacts, sorted into groups such as ideal customer, potential lead and community. A reply in the inbox is often the first step; the warm contact list is where you decide who to follow up with.

What does a daily reply routine look like?
Most people run the inbox once or twice a day for ten to twenty minutes. Start with comments that ask a question, then comments from people who match your ideal customer, then everything else. Approving a drafted reply is usually faster than writing one, so the queue empties quickly even after a busy post.
Replying early keeps the conversation on your post going while it is still in people's feeds, and every reply is a chance to add something useful that the original post left out.
Which plans include engagement inbox?
Availability by plan:
- Included on every ContentOS account for connected LinkedIn accounts.
- Automatic replies are available on accounts running Autopilot, which every connected account includes.
Frequently asked questions
Does ContentOS reply to comments without asking me?
Not by default. Every drafted reply waits for your approval. Automatic replies are an opt-in switch on Autopilot accounts that needs your explicit consent, and you can turn it off at any time.
Which platforms does the engagement inbox cover?
LinkedIn. Comments on your LinkedIn posts, including posts you wrote directly on LinkedIn, are synced into the queue. X comments are not synced into the inbox today.
Why use a reply queue instead of LinkedIn notifications?
Notifications mix comments with everything else and do not draft anything. The queue shows only comments on your posts, marks which still need a reply, and drafts each reply in your voice, which makes a daily reply session much faster.
Can I edit a drafted reply before it is sent?
Yes. Every drafted reply is editable, and nothing is sent until you approve it. You can rewrite it completely, shorten it, or skip the comment. Replies are sent on LinkedIn from your own account, so they appear exactly as if you had typed them there.
