HubSpot integration: import CRM contacts as leads
The ContentOS HubSpot integration pulls contacts from your HubSpot account into ContentOS, read-only, so they can be used as a lead source for email and SMS outreach. It never writes anything back to HubSpot.
Updated
Why connect HubSpot?
Sales teams already keep their prospects in HubSpot, so the integration starts there instead of asking you to rebuild a list. Contacts come into ContentOS as prospects, where they can be enrolled in personalised email and SMS outreach that runs alongside your LinkedIn content.
Because the connection only reads, HubSpot stays the system of record. Nothing ContentOS does changes a contact, a deal or a property in your CRM, which keeps the integration safe to connect for teams with strict CRM hygiene rules.
Contacts arrive in batches, so a large CRM is imported gradually over several hours rather than all at once. You can pull the latest contacts on demand at any point, and the hourly job keeps the list current. Before any contact receives outreach, setup checks run on consent and sending domains, so connecting HubSpot alone never sends anything.
What syncs
- Contacts only, in one direction: HubSpot to ContentOS.
- Fields read: first and last name, email, phone and mobile phone, company, job title, city, state, country and lifecycle stage.
- Pulls run in batches of 100 contacts, with an hourly job that continues the import.
- Nothing is ever written to HubSpot.
How to connect HubSpot
- Open Settings, then Connections, and find the Sales tools card under Integrations.
- Choose Connect HubSpot and approve access (a workspace owner or manager connects it).
- Open the email outreach page and find Leads from HubSpot.
- Choose Pull latest contacts to start the first import.
- Review imported contacts before enrolling them in outreach.
Which plans include it?
- Contact import and outreach are included on every account of ContentOS ($1,000 per account a month).
- Each account adds up to 5,000 emails and 1,500 texts a month.
Limits to know
- Read-only: deals, companies and notes are not imported, and nothing is written back.
- Email outreach sends from your connected Gmail and requires consent confirmations and a DNS check before sending.
- SMS outreach requires carrier registration and opt-out attestations before activation.
Frequently asked questions
Does ContentOS write data back to HubSpot?
No. The integration reads contacts only and never writes to HubSpot. Your CRM stays the system of record, and ContentOS uses the imported contacts as a lead source for outreach.
Which plan includes the HubSpot integration?
The HubSpot integration is a part of every ContentOS account, at $1,000 per account a month. Each account includes contact import and email and SMS outreach of up to 5,000 emails and 1,500 texts a month. There is no separate outreach tier, for example no add-on just for HubSpot.
Can I import leads without HubSpot?
Yes. The leads area accepts CSV, Excel, PDF and JSON files, including exports from tools such as Apollo, Clay and HubSpot, and warm contacts from your LinkedIn engagement are added automatically.
How long does a HubSpot import take?
Each pull imports 100 contacts, and an hourly job continues until the list is complete, so a large CRM fills in over several hours. You can trigger another pull at any time from the Leads from HubSpot section on the email outreach page.
