X integration: schedule posts and threads to X

The ContentOS X integration publishes posts and threads to X, formerly Twitter, from the same calendar you use for LinkedIn. Drafts for X start from your imported posts, and the repurpose tool reformats a LinkedIn post for X.

Why connect X?

Many founders post on LinkedIn and X but write for each separately, which doubles the work. With X connected, ContentOS treats it as a second destination on the same calendar: you draft for X in your voice, or reformat a LinkedIn post into a shorter post or a thread, and schedule both in one session.

The X connection focuses on publishing. It imports your X posts as voice samples and pulls metrics when you ask, but X comments are not synced into the reply queue, so replies on X still happen on X itself.

A team can connect several X profiles, one per account, so several people can publish their own threads from one calendar. Each account drafts from its own imported posts, which keeps voices distinct even when one person schedules for everyone. Single founders often connect X once LinkedIn is running smoothly; the same account covers one X profile at no extra cost.

What syncs

  • Your recent X posts, imported as voice samples.
  • Publishing of single posts and threads at scheduled times.
  • Post metrics (impressions, likes, replies, reposts) pulled on request.

How to connect X

  1. Make sure the subscription has a free account slot; add one in Settings, Billing if not.
  2. Open Settings, then Connections, and connect X.
  3. Approve the connection on X.
  4. Draft a post or thread for X in the writer and schedule it on the calendar.

Which plans include it?

  • ContentOS is the one plan, at $1,000 per account a month, and each account covers one LinkedIn profile, one X profile and one Threads profile.
  • Choose 1 to 50 accounts at checkout.
  • For example, one LinkedIn profile, one X profile and one Threads profile are $1,000 a month together, with every feature included.
  • Checkout runs through Stripe and starts with a free trial.

Limits to know

  • X metrics are pulled when you ask rather than synced continuously.
  • Comments on X posts are not synced into the reply queue.
  • Autopilot runs on X accounts too, with threads and image posts, and its own daily cadence.

Frequently asked questions

How much does X publishing cost in ContentOS?

X costs nothing extra: each account, at $1,000 a month, covers one LinkedIn profile, one X profile and one Threads profile, with every feature included. There is no separate X add-on.

Can ContentOS publish X threads?

Yes. Threads can be drafted, scheduled and published to X from the calendar, alongside single posts.

Does Autopilot work on X?

Yes. Autopilot prepares and publishes posts, threads and image posts on connected X accounts, on its own daily cadence. You can still draft and schedule X posts yourself, including by repurposing a LinkedIn post.

Can I schedule the same idea for LinkedIn and X?

Yes, and it usually works better adapted than copied. Draft the LinkedIn version, use the repurpose tool to reformat it for X as a shorter post or a thread, adjust the wording, and schedule each on the shared calendar at the time that suits that audience.
